Birther Criticism Causes Computer Brain Freeze on Daily Show

Vision2America jumped into the pig pile on NPR with its “NPR Admits to Obama Birther Coverup” post, which includes a video clip where NPR fundraiser Betsy Liley tries to explain how criticism of global warming is covered as politics but not as science for the same reasons NPR doesn’t cover the birthers. She says:

“We’re not covering the birthers. We are not covering them. There’s a whole movement within the conservative group about questioning something that Obama has said as fact, ‘I was born in Hawaii, when it was the United States.’”

For the record, global warming opponents are upset at being compared to birthers.

But everyone can just take it easy on the question of President Obama’s citizenship because Jon Stewart (beginning at about 3:05 in the video below) put the whole thing to rest last week in his “Watson”-inspired interview of Republican computer presidential nominee Reagan OS 911.
