One week after New York City’s WOR announced that it will no longer carry the Glenn Beck radio program, a progressive Jewish group is leading the charge to remove Beck’s television show from the Fox News Channel daily lineup.
Today at 10 a.m., Simon Greer, president of Jewish Funds for Justice (JFSJ), launched a campaign delivering more than 10,000 letters calling for Beck’s ouster to Rupert Murdoch at Fox News headquarters.
Last April, JFSJ launched a “twitterstorm” against Beck’s comments on social justice. And as we reported here at RD last fall, JFSJ first voiced strong concern about Beck’s anti-semitism in response to Beck’s malicious attack on Holocaust survivor George Soros, who Beck called a “Puppet Master” and accused of conspiring with Nazis.
