Laury Silvers

Laury Silvers is a visiting assistant professor of Classical Islam at the University of Toronto. Her scholarship focuses on Sufism in the Formative Period, Sufism and Gender, and Progressive Islam. In addition, she is a Progressive Muslim activist, author, and co-founder of the gender-equal GLBTQ-friendly el-Tawhid Unity Mosque in Toronto, Ontario.
