Rhiannon Graybill and Jill Hicks-Keeton

Rhiannon Graybill is Associate Professor of Religious Studies at Rhodes College in Memphis, TN. She is the author of Are We Not Men?: Unstable Masculinity in the Hebrew Prophets (2018) and Texts after Terror: Rape, Sexual Violence, and the Hebrew Bible (2021), both published by Oxford University Press. She is currently co-authoring a commentary on the book of Jonah. | Jill Hicks-Keeton is Associate Professor of Religious Studies at the University of Oklahoma. She is the author of Arguing with Aseneth: Gentile Access to Israel’s Living God in Jewish Antiquity (Oxford University Press, 2018) and Does Scripture Speak for Itself? The Museum of the Bible and the Politics of Interpretation(Cambridge University Press, 2022; with Cavan Concannon). She is currently at work on a book provisionally entitled Good Book: How White Evangelicals Save the Bible to Save Themselves, from which this material has been adapted.
