Jenna Weissman Joselit is the Charles E. Smith Professor of Judaic Studies & Professor of History at The George Washington University, where she also directs its graduate programs in Jewish cultural arts. A columnist for Tablet, Weissman Joselit is the author, most recently, of Set in Stone: America’s Embrace of the Ten Commandments, as well as numerous other publications, among them The Wonders of America, which received the National Jewish Book Award in History, and A Perfect Fit: Clothes, Character and the Promise of America. Much of the research for Set in Stone was conducted at the Library of Congress, where she was a Distinguished Visiting Scholar at the John W. Kluge Center.
