Joyce Dalsheim and Gregory Starrett

Joyce Dalsheim is Associate Professor of Global Studies at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and Luce/American Council of Learned Societies Fellow in Religion, Journalism, and International Affairs in residence at Northwestern University 2018-2019. She studies religion, nationalism, and conflict, particularly in Israel/Palestine. Her recent publications include Unsettling Gaza: Secular Liberalism, Radical Religion, and the Israeli Settlement Project (Oxford 2011); and Producing Spoilers: Peacemaking and the Production of Enmity in a Secular Age  (Oxford 2013). Elizabeth Gregory is the author of Ready: Why Women Are Embracing the New Later Motherhood (Basic Books, 2012). She blogs about the politics and economics of fertility and women’s work at www.domesticproduct.net.
