Kareem Crayton, JD, PhD, is a nationally-respected expert, scholar, and consultant on election law and voting rights. He is author of dozens of scholarly articles and amicus briefs, including a widely cited scholarly brief to the U.S. Supreme Court in the case Shelby County v. Holder. While in North Carolina, he served as chief redistricting consultant to legislators and other parties challenging district gerrymanders drawn in the state in 2011. He is currently serving Visiting Professor at Vanderbilt University Law School and manages Crimcard Consulting Services, an interdisciplinary consulting firm.
