Peter Heltzel

Rev. Dr. Peter Goodwin Heltzel is associate professor of theology at New York Theological Seminary, co-author of Faith-Rooted Organizing (2014) with Alexia Salvatierra, and director of the Micah Institute, a faith-rooted fusion organizing movement for racial and economic justice in NYC. An Auburn Seminary Senior Fellow, Peter is currently writing a systematic theology for shalom justice, calling on Christians, Muslims and Jews to collaborate for peace and justice in a time of terror.
