Mary Reynolds and Carol Mason

Mary Reynolds, co-founder of the Gender & Authoritarianism Research Collective, has a Ph.D. in American Studies from Yale. A labor organizer in higher education and hospitality for more than fifteen years, she currently consults for the Reflective Democracy Campaign. Carol Mason, PhD, is the author of several books that research different aspects of the Right, including Reading Appalachia from Left to Right: Conservatives and the 1974 Kanawha County Textbook Controversy, and a forthcoming book, From the Clinics to the Capitol: How Opposing Abortion Became Insurrectionary. She lives and teaches in Kentucky.
