Matthew D. Taylor, Ph.D., is a scholar at the Institute for Islamic, Christian, and Jewish Studies where he specializes in Muslim-Christian dialogue, Evangelical and Pentecostal movements, religious politics in the U.S., and American Islam. His book Scripture People: Salafi Muslims in Evangelical Christians’ America is due out in 2023 from Cambridge University Press. | Bradley B. Onishi, PhD is faculty at the University of San Francisco. He is the author of the forthcoming book Preparing for War: The Extremist History of White Christian Nationalism - And What Comes Next (Broadleaf 2023) and the co-host of the Straight White American Jesus podcast.
