Q: Is there a polite way to describe Newt Gingrich that doesn’t involve the words “sleazy, warped, lying, bottom-feeding, power-mad, quasi-sociopathic, hypocritical, or serial adulterer”?
A: Yes. “A sinner different from the rest of us only in the scale of his brokenness.” Also, his wives seem to be better persons than him, therefore “bottom-feeding” doesn’t really apply. So there’s that.
*Or, “moderately complex answers to moderately complex rhetorical questions.” But that doesn’t really make a good headline, does it?
