Religion Dispatches is Nominated for a 2014 Webby Award

Religion Dispatches has been nominated in the Religion and Spirituality category for the 2014 Webby awards—our third nomination in four years.

There’s an editorial’s worth to say about the evolution of this category, but suffice to say we are delighted to be in the company of SSRC’s Reverberations, Washington U.’s Religion & Politics, Krista Tippett’s On Being, and PBS’s Religion & Ethics NewsWeekly.

The Webby judges will work their magic, selecting their favorite for the year, but there’s a separate contest—the People’s Choice Webby—where you, the reading public, cast the votes. We’d be honored if you’d take a minute to show your support for Religion Dispatches, as we celebrate our strongest year ever.

With a deep roster of remarkable writing, RD’s dedication to exploring and critiquing religion in public life has made us a vital source of information—and a powerful spur to the kinds of conversations that can change culture.

Thank you for reading RD, and for your VOTE!
